WHITE DAY
adalah hari memberi hadiah kepada wanita yang berasal dari jepang dan jatuh pada tanggal 14 maret. hadiah yang dimaksud adalah marshmallow atau permen sebagai balasan atas hadiah coklat yang diterima pria di hari valentine. "white day" pertama kali diadakan pada tahun 1989 di jepang, tapi sekararang "white day" juga diadakan di korea selatan, taiwan, hongkong, dan indonesia. ide tentang "white day" berasal dari strategi kopersai produsen permen jepang yang ingin meningkatkan penjualan permennya. bahan baku permen yang digunakan untuk "white day" adalah gula bewarna putih sehingga disebut "white day" tau "hari putih"



BLACK DAY
adalah hari untuk para single (wanita/pria)  pada tanggal 14 april di korea selatan. "black day" juga berlaku bagi pri dan wanita yang tidak menerima hadiah baik di hari valentine / di white day. peserta "black day" dapat ikut serta dengan berpakaian serba hitam dan menghadiri acara kumpul-kumpul secara informal dengan peserta lainnya. acara diisi dengan memakan mi bersaus kental bewarna hitam yang disebut "jajangmyeon" dan minum kopi hitam
